New House

Here is one of the last pictures taken in our old house.  We moved into our new house on March 9th.  The night before the loan closed the mortgage guy called us and told us that everything on the inspection list needed to be taken care of before we could close.  That was a Thurs, and we needed the whole weekend to move.  We came out and just knocked out like 20 things on the inspection list.  Most things were small, but some weren't.  The realtor and loan guy pulled a bunch of strings, and we closed at 4:45 the next day.  Of course the loan wouldn't get funded until the following Monday, but the owner of the house sent a text to our realtor during our closing and told us that we could move in.  What a relief!
We were in the house about 3 weeks before Preston started crawling.  So he was 10 months old when he decided to start crawling.  He weighs 30 pounds, so he probably just feels like it's too much work to move around!  He's so sweet!  I sure love that boy!  He doesn't sleep through the night, but he's still sweet!
We took the kids to Thanksgiving Point's Easter Eggstreme.  That was fun.  I thought it would just be an easter egg hunt, but there were things to do everywhere.  That's something that I wouldn't mind doing every year.  The girls must really be getting older.  They used to freak out when they'd see anything oversized and dressed up.
I waited in the freezing cold with Preston while the kids played on the blow up toys.  This was the first day of Preston getting sick.  It was only that cold for about an hour, but he got really sick the following week.  He ended up with a double ear infection, and RSV.  Poor guy!  He and I didn't get much sleep for over a week.  He was up about 6-10 times per night.
 So Happy!
I wanted to find the one golden egg that was hidden somewhere in thanksgiving point, I didn't find it.  Maybe next year.
Averi was so cute, when we walked up to the big princess bouncy house she looked up at us with tears in her eyes, and goes, "It's Cinderellas house!"  She was so overwhelmed it made her cry.  So sweet!
They played there until it got warm.
The older kids got to hunt for eggs first.  We didn't know what it would be like, so we prepped the kids on how to get the most amount of eggs the fastest.  Well, I think Asher got more eggs than anyone there.  The girls pick up one egg, want to open it and eat the candy then move on.  But we had heard how crazy it is with all the kids here, so we told them to get as many eggs as they could and eat them at the end.  I guess Asher does hear me when I talk!
She got sad, because she had to wait so long!
Happy when they said it was time to go in.
So as soon as they let the kids in Piper took off grabbing as many eggs as she could.  Averi grabbed one, opened it, then thought she was lost and started crying.  In that span of 5 seconds all the eggs were gone, and she ended up with about 2 eggs.  So Asher shared with her.  He can be so nice to his sisters sometimes.  It makes me so proud of him!
I didn't find the golden egg, but we did win a dozen organic brown eggs at one of the booths.  That was one of the first things we did, and had to carry a dozen eggs with us the rest of the time.
Even with her few eggs, Averi was so happy.  Plus all of her eggs had stickers, I think she got only 1-2 pieces of candy.
The girls have seemed so much older lately.  They play so cute together.  They've been holding hands and dancing a lot.  It's fun to watch them get older.
We were at Old Navy the other day, and Piper was playing with these sunglasses in line, and I was about to tell her to put them back.  But she looked so cute in them!  So she got them, and has worn them everyday.  That was about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and she is still wearing them right now.  They love to act so adult!  She's got her baby and purse (easter basket).
Since we've moved into this house we switched Asher from Meadow to Snow Springs Elementary.  He did really well with the transition.  The first week we were here I brought Asher up to a sleep study to have an extensive sleep study done.  It turns out that his Apnea is REALLY bad.  The worst the Doctor has ever seen.  So he's going in this Wednesday, the day after his birthday, to get a little surgery done.  It's called a tubinoplasty.  We really hope this helps him, and that he'll be able to breathe when he sleeps.  His oxygen was dipping down to 67% 16 times per hour during his REM sleep.  It just about broke my heart to hear that.  It's gotten so much worse in the last year since he got his tonsil out.  I think getting those out were a waste, but there was no way to know unless we did it.
Averi's just the best little girl!  She spends a good portion of her day pretending.  There's nothing cuter than when she and Piper are playing together.  Averi is usually in some sort of trouble, and Piper needs to help/save her.
Piper was so awesome.  She pulled up the step stool and loaded the entire dishwasher the other day.  She did a really good job too.  She rinsed every thing out then put it in the dishwasher.  The next day she pulled the step stool out.  This time she found the cake decorating tiny little sprinkles.  She dumped them out all over the counter and floor.  That took a few days to finish cleaning up.  That's just what she does.  It used to make me crazy, now I blame myself for owning a stool.  Averi was happy to eat the sprinkles off the ground though!
 Dancing together!
I got out of the shower, and this is how I found the girls.  They were watching a show.  This makes up for all the hard things about them!
 Always into something!
I bought the kids bubbles, and they all wanted to take a bath together.  They put their swimming suits on and played in there for a long time.  Averi's swimming suit is on backwards, but it didn't bother her one bit!
Piper came out of her room wearing this with some heels, and just walked around acting like a princess, I had to take a video of her because I can't even describe how she was acting.  So funny, yet SO adult!
Piper got really sick right when Preston started feeling better.  She had a pretty high fever for about 3 days.  She even gets sick in style!
We had Asher's 6th birthday party here on Saturday.  He invited a bunch of friends over.  That was a lot of fun.  Asher's so funny.  He told me he wanted a "teeth" themed birthday.  Melanie goes, "Oh, like a dentist?"   He looked at her like she was crazy, and goes, "No, not like a dentist.  Just teeth."  Right before the party he decided it was train themed.  He can switch the theme as much as he wants because I didn't buy anything themed.  So he just told everyone it was train themed throughout the party.  He says some of the funniest things.
The day after the party we were in the backyard on a blanket and I noticed a ton of ants finishing off any leftovers from the party.  Averi didn't like the ants, so she put on 2 left boots and just stomped on ants.
I love those little legs.  There's nothing cuter!  I just feel sorry for her when she walks up the stairs.  It's just so much work for her!  Usually because her hands are so full too.  She and Preston weigh the same right now.
That face melts my heart every time I see it!
He ate about half a can of black beans!
I found most of the beans in his lap.
We've spent so much time on this house since we moved in.  All of the trim was painted this horrible brown color.  So we've been painting, putting the salon in, and trying to get adjusted to everything here.  I think we'll be really happy here.  There are so many kids, and we're all making friends fast.
