Here is a typical morning when all the kids get up. They all have their blankets and just cover themselves up with them. Averi tried to cover herself up with anything that's laying around. At first I'd always tell Asher to stop putting blankets over them, but they just laugh and laugh... Piper loves to wear necklaces! If you notice she also has my phone in her hand. She walks around talking on anything, she was holding up a dinosaur to her ear earlier just saying, Hi, Hi, Hi, over and over again! She has a real breathy voice and it's cute when she says it. (Don't mind Asher's big foot that he kept trying to stick in front of the camera)
Well we're really looking forward to this next year. It's getting so much more fun with the girls. Their personalities are really starting to shine through. Piper's getting easier each day, and Averi's starting to get silly.
Asher is finally out of pull-ups at night. Although this morning he woke up and had to take off his clothes because he was too sweaty. I'm thinking he peed. I'm proud of him though, he's getting old and so sweet. He still takes a nap everyday and he helps me with the laundry. He can write his name and knows how to write all his numbers and letters. He just catches on so quickly. He also loves books. Lately he wants me to snuggle with him when it's time for bed. So he reads me a book, and gets mad if I open my eyes, then sings me a song and turns off the light. I'm usually asleep when he's all done.
Piper is walking, and just pops up wherever she is. She's also sleeping good during her naps. She's still up a lot at night, but maybe soon she'll start sleeping better. She's starting to talk a lot. She says hi, bye, mama, dada, papa, thank you, nose, ball, bottle, duck, quack and a few other things that don't sound like anything but she thinks she's saying something.
Averi's still just crawling, she's starting to pull herself up on furniture a little more. She loves toys and still freaks if anyone acts like they're going to take it away. She loves the tub and loves to splash. She says a few things like, mama, dada, bye, and thank you. I'm sure she says some other things too.
Matt and I spoke in church on Sunday. Our talks were on Integrity. It went really well and we were glad for the opportunity!
