1st Birthdays!!!

Here is a typical morning when all the kids get up. They all have their blankets and just cover themselves up with them. Averi tried to cover herself up with anything that's laying around. At first I'd always tell Asher to stop putting blankets over them, but they just laugh and laugh... Piper loves to wear necklaces! If you notice she also has my phone in her hand. She walks around talking on anything, she was holding up a dinosaur to her ear earlier just saying, Hi, Hi, Hi, over and over again! She has a real breathy voice and it's cute when she says it. (Don't mind Asher's big foot that he kept trying to stick in front of the camera)

These girls absolutely love the toilet and toilet paper! I have to take them out of the bathroom all day! This isn't as bad as when I walk in and the toilet paper's wet and they're sucking on it!
We have a lot of fun new toys at our house since the girls turned one. I always have the pictures out of order. But this little riding toys are so fun for them. You can see Averi's dimple in this picture. The girls were so sick and this is the first time she played in almost a week. She just looks so pale and skinny in this picture! All the kids were sick and no one ate!
Averi was the sickest and just laid around while someone held her all day. Piper was sick too and would just cough until she threw up. In this picture Piper had just thrown up so I just hurried and laid Averi down so I could clean it up, she just cried the whole time. So Piper just laid on top of her until I picked her back up. It was really sweet.
That's the look Averi had on her face for a whole week! She had a mild case of RSV and double ear infections. When I'd lay her down she would just hold her head even once she was asleep. I've never seen her in so much pain!
Piper wasn't feeling very good this morning and she just laid there for the longest time. Averi kept laying on her but every time I got the camera out she'd hurry and sit up. They're so cute with each other. When they're excited to see each other they just kind of fall into each other hugging and kissing until someone gets hurt.
Since I'm doing this whole thing out of order here are the pictures we took while opening presents.
She looks so content here!
I love this picture!
Here are some of the pictures that Chrystal took.
She has the cutest smile!
Pretty blue eyes!
Averi must've thought she was on the Doctor's table when I set her on the table. It took her a while to calm down!
Asher got up there with the girls and wasn't sure what to think either. He just moved slowly and watched me while he grabbed some cake. He was just sure I was going to stop him! It's just wrong to sit on the table and smash the girl's cake into your face!

Well we're really looking forward to this next year. It's getting so much more fun with the girls. Their personalities are really starting to shine through. Piper's getting easier each day, and Averi's starting to get silly.

Asher is finally out of pull-ups at night. Although this morning he woke up and had to take off his clothes because he was too sweaty. I'm thinking he peed. I'm proud of him though, he's getting old and so sweet. He still takes a nap everyday and he helps me with the laundry. He can write his name and knows how to write all his numbers and letters. He just catches on so quickly. He also loves books. Lately he wants me to snuggle with him when it's time for bed. So he reads me a book, and gets mad if I open my eyes, then sings me a song and turns off the light. I'm usually asleep when he's all done.

Piper is walking, and just pops up wherever she is. She's also sleeping good during her naps. She's still up a lot at night, but maybe soon she'll start sleeping better. She's starting to talk a lot. She says hi, bye, mama, dada, papa, thank you, nose, ball, bottle, duck, quack and a few other things that don't sound like anything but she thinks she's saying something.

Averi's still just crawling, she's starting to pull herself up on furniture a little more. She loves toys and still freaks if anyone acts like they're going to take it away. She loves the tub and loves to splash. She says a few things like, mama, dada, bye, and thank you. I'm sure she says some other things too.

Matt and I spoke in church on Sunday. Our talks were on Integrity. It went really well and we were glad for the opportunity!

Your kids are too cute!

Joe was wondering if you could start cutting his hair again...after like a 6 year break! We live in Draper now, I'm not sure where you are, but hopefully close! =)
