4th of July

We had a family reunion over the fourth up in Idaho on Matt's side of the family. I was nervous to bring the girls up there when I had been working so hard on their schedule and sleeping. It ended up going well and we all had a lot of fun. We took family pictures while we were up there. The last family picture Matt's family took we had only been dating about a month. So it would've been a little premature to get in the picture with everyone. The girls were happy and doing good after the pictures so we snapped a few too. This is such a typical face of Asher. He knew I wanted him to smile so he just kept making this face. I promised him a sucker if he smiled. I got the picture I asked for then this is the one I like because it's so him.

The next day we went on a little wagon ride. It was so pretty and fun to see all the animals and farms up there. Asher loved it!

Piper after the wagon ride. Looking tired as usual. I don't know why she won't just sleep! It would make both of our lives so much better!

Averi with Matt's aunt Dianne. She has twins too. They're just a little older. She really loves these girls. I think it reminds her of when hers were little.

Things are going OK with the twins. They aren't even close to where I want them to be as far as sleeping during the day and night goes. Piper is waking up every 3 hours again. Now Averi is waking up twice too. I hate to wake the other one up at night if they sleep through the other baby's feeding in case they'd skip it and sleep through it, but all I'm doing is getting up every hour or two all night instead. Then I feel bad because when Asher wakes up I just turn on the TV for him and try to get a little sleep. Asher loves it so he doesn't care, but I'd really like to get enough sleep at night so I can just get up and get going for the day.

I feel like I have no idea what to do next with the girls to help them sleep better. I should let them cry at night, but it just ends up waking everybody else up. Piper's cry is so loud! If anyone has any tips or ideas I feel desperate and would love any advice.

And to make matters worse Asher's been pooping his pants, so gross!!! I just hosed him off. I could've waited for a good day to post, but who knows when that would've been.
