Blessing Day

Today turned out to be such a special day. We had a lot of family and friends come down for the girl's blessing. Our ward was at 9:00 and Matt did a great job on the blessings. The spirit was really strong, and it was just a neat Sacrament meeting. Here is Matt and Boone after the blessing with Averi. I don't know what happened but I didn't get any pictures of Averi in her blessing dress. I'll have to dress them back up and take some good pictures. It'll be better because we won't feel rushed.
Here is Grampa Dean with Piper. We were so glad that he and Mary could make it to the blessing. Piper looks so calm laying there in her pretty dress!

They were so sweet today

We decided to celebrate Asher's birthday right after the lunch after the blessing. The other day I asked Asher what kind of birthday cake he wanted for his birthday and instantly he turned to me and said that he wanted a mustache cake. He then clarified and said that he wanted a guy with a mustache. So here is his cake that he was so proud of.

He has been so excited to blow out the candles. He has me sing to him everyday and pretends to blow them out. Asher wanted a mustache so thanks to Greg and Paul they made him one with frosting. I told them that they could give him one as long as they didn't go with their original plan of permanent marker, although I don't think Asher would've minded.

Thanks everyone for coming today, it was fun to see everyone. It's always so hectic then it's over and I always feel like I never got a chance to talk to everyone like I wanted to.

Maybe this next week will be warm and we can bring them outside for a walk in our new stroller. I think the girls will like that. I'm sure there will be pictures documenting their first walk!
