11 Weeks Old

The girls are now 11 weeks old. Things are going good. It really depends on the day that you ask me. Yesterday I was tired, burnt out, and just wanted a break. But today has been awesome. Even fairly easy! This morning the girls woke up at the same time and then I laid them back down at about 9:30, awake. They fell right to sleep and woke up three hours later. It was really a miracle. I had to keep going in to check on them, and when they were okay each time I just felt so proud of them. Two nights ago they slept through the night for the first time. So I'm hoping that within the next few weeks they start doing it every night. Ok, I took this picture from the window in our bedroom. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon, I had tried to get him dressed earlier but he insisted on staying in his pajamas, then when I was putting the girls down he grabbed his blanket, snuck a binkie and put his frog boots on. It was so funny to watch him play out there looking like that, then when he walked in the house I noticed that he had taken a pen and colored all over his face. He's just gotten so dang opinionated about everything.

Asher talks so much and he'll decide how he likes to say certain things and there is no changing his mind. Lately it's been the word very. He says ery. He just leaves the v off. Which is fine, but he uses the word very at least twice in every sentence lately. So his sentences sound like this. "I ery ery want to watch a show." While I typed that sentence he just walked by and said, "I'm ery so happy!" He just saw a spider and said, "There's ery ery a spider... it's ery ery so scary." These are samples of the last 20 seconds! I hope he always talks this way and says ery with so much conviction!
Here is Piper, she's about 10 weeks old here. Her hair is getting so long on the top, she's going to have a 6 inch long Mohawk soon if I don't figure something else out. Her hair is really curly so I might try something with the curls. You'd think I'd have some idea about how to do her hair. I tried flat but it just wasn't her.

I love this picture of Averi, she's so sweet and so cute! The best way to describe her is pink! She's just pink.
Doesn't Piper have the cutest smile?! I didn't even know we got that picture of her. We're starting to get more and more smiles out of the girls. I love them so much, they both have the biggest smiles! Thanks to the Booths for their super cute skirts and tights!
I've loved matching these girls.

I'm glad that I took the time to post today, because tomorrow is another day and I want to remember the positive Things from when the kids are young and today was a good day, not everyday has been this smooth but hopefully we'll get more on a schedule and we can get a few things to go smoothly each day.

Thanks for the response! I absolutely love making my own baby food, and I know it's saving us lots of money too. Colton is able to get a huge variety of food when I make it versus just buying what's at the store also. Joe and I will take a few hours one night a month and tackle a months worth of food. Definitely go for it if you have the time!
