Getting ready for Christmas

Asher is still working on potty training. It has really created a lot of unique outfits. When we're at home he does really well. If he has a diaper on he doesn't really think of going to the bathroom on the toilet. I don't really care when he gets potty trained. For some reason his little toilet REALLY grosses me out. I gag every time I clean it. But for some reason diapers aren't so bad. Asher's getting excited for Christmas. He talks about it nonstop! Mostly his "train tracks". That's what he really wants and we told him a thousand times that maybe Santa will bring it to him. Then this morning I had him come help me wrap some presents and I couldn't find the scissors so he was looking on the ground and under the bed for them, and he goes, "Oh, there's my train tracks!" I got all weird and was all, "No they aren't! Let's go downstairs." Then I looked under the bed to see what he saw and it was of course his train set, but it was in two big bags, you could see the logo on the side. I wrapped it and moved it so even if he does try looking again it'll be gone.

In this picture Asher was pretending like his horse was a sleigh, and he had his stocking filled with little pieces from his nativity scene, and he was going around saying, "Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas!" Then he was giving out "toys". It's been so fun seeing him learn about Christmas and hearing him sing Christmas songs.

I'm still pregnant! I'm getting to the point now that strangers are commenting every time I go somewhere. I went to the hospital for a non-stress test the other night and an old lady was trying to make me take a wheelchair because she thought I was in labor. Then when I was at the front desk they asked me in front of everyone how far along I was. I tried to say it quietly but everyone heard and started apologizing!

I don't really care about the comments and how people clear like a whole aisle just to let me walk past, but I'm getting so uncomfortable. Sleeping's a disaster, so is sitting, standing and walking. I have been lucky that I can still work and it's really not too bad. My goal is to work until the third week in January. If I can go longer fine, I'll just see how I'm doing.
