The Reindeer at Thanksgiving Point

We went to Thanksgiving point the other night to see the reindeer. It was fun but SO cold! We asked a lady to take our picture and she almost cut us out! She must have really wanted a good shot of Rudolf in the background.

I love how Asher looks at Matt. He loves him so much!

Here Asher was trying not to be scared. He talks about Santa and his reindeer all the time but gets so scared.

Here is a perfect example. He wanted to see Santa so bad but would absolutely no get close to him. I don't think it's so bad to feel like he shouldn't get on some strangers lap and talk to him and act like he's happy about it.

Asher has been thinking about getting potty trained. He spends a few hours each day without pants and a diaper going to the bathroom every two minutes so that he can get some candy. We're both not totally sure that we're ready to be potty trained. I'm sure when we're buying diapers for three we'll be ready for Asher to be potty trained.

The day after our Christmas party Matt and I were so tired and I heard Asher wake up from his nap and I didn't want to go all the way upstairs (it's SO far!!!) to get him and I go, "Oh Asher can't you climb out of your crib for once by yourself!" I didn't think he could even hear me and two seconds later he came running out of his room yelling, "Good Morning! I woke up!" It was really cute. He'll climb out a little here and there after his naps, but for the most part he likes to have someone come get him. So I think it's getting close to time for a toddler bed.

Yesterday I went to lunch with a friend and I brought Asher. He kept escaping and when I went to get him he was walking down the aisles of the restaurant with his hands on his back pushing his stomach out and announcing to everyone that he was having twin babies. It was pretty funny. I think he thought all those people were lined up in a row just to watch him perform. As far as he's concerned the world revolves around him. Poor thing, in a couple of months he'll find out that it actually revolves around the twins!
