Could he be any sweeter? Preston's 6 weeks in this picture. The kids pick flowers and dandelions for me and come in the house saying "Hatty Birthday Mom!" I love it.

I decided that 3 kids in diapers is just too much. Apparently I the only one that felt this way. Averi sat on the toilet for 3 days straight, by choice, and didn't pee once. She did poop on the toilet every time though. Piper was fine to pee on the toilet without being asked. But when she pooped in her underwear then on the front seat of the car I decided diapers weren't that bad.

I asked Asher to get dressed the other day. Looks like I need to be more specific, like shorts and a T-shirt. In his defense there weren't many clean clothes. He pulled the pant legs up above his knees. He wore that long sleeved shirt all day and kept telling me he wanted to be hot. And it looks like Piper didn't quite make it to the toilet.

These kids are so sweet! They are so so so much work. But I'll really miss the ages that they are right now. They say the cutest things and do the cutest things all day long! They fight and tease, but they also play together too. It's so fun to watch. I love their interactions. Asher's always trying to let them know that he's in charge, and the girls just want to do everything he does. Even posing for this picture, as soon as they all sat down Asher would move up on the stairs, then without thinking the girls would both move up. They did this until I had them all come down and just sit on the same stair.

We were all getting ready for church this morning and Preston was asleep in the bouncer. Everyone was a little loud and I think he just kept his hands out like that to ward off anyone from touching him. Not that we have a problem with two motherly girls touching him constantly!

I always forget my camera but we've gone and done a few things lately. We went to the splash park in Alpine and Greg and the 3 older kids met up with us while Mindi stayed with the twins. That was fun. There were about 4 other sets of twins there and it just pointed out how these babies are just coming down from Heaven so quickly! And we sure didn't feel special knowing everyone else has gone through this exact same thing.

I met up with Melanie and we went to the Splash park in Highland. I brought the 4 kids and she had Kalli, Zane and Reagan. The kids just kind of hovered around us. Oh well, it was easy to keep track of them.

A couple weeks ago Asher begged us to go to the canyon. So for Family Home Evening we got food and went up there. We were kind of tired and asked if a park would be ok. He insisted on the canyon. By the time we got there and got everyone out, Asher goes, "THIS is a canyon? I meant that park with water." The kids all complained about "buggies" and cried most of the time. I insisted that we walk around and explore. We found a ton of snails and that was good enough then turned around and came home. There were a ton of bugs up there where we were.

Preston's still getting big really fast! He's 7 weeks and already 17 pounds. Asher's really tall and he's way bigger than Asher was at this age. I think Preston will be a tall one! The girls are so tall too. I don't realize how tall they are until we get into nursery. They are a head taller than everyone in there. They're also so good when they're in there. It's funny because they don't talk or play with each other when they're in there. It makes me wonder what I'm going to do about school. Should I keep them together or separate them? We still have a few years to decide.

I've been riding my bike a lot and the other day Asher came running in the house and goes, "MOM! My bike was built for speed... just like yours!" Then when I went to take Melissa, our babysitter, home, I go, "Asher get in the car." He goes, "I'll just ride my bike behind you, I'm really fast now so I can keep up." So cute. I need to go on more bike rides with him. He's been so sweet lately. He always tells me that he'll always remember me, then asks if I'll always remember him. Then before I can answer he goes, "I know you will mom. I'm your son!" It's sweet. He tells me that he loves me and gives me big hugs quite a few times a day. I love it!

The girls are so funny! They're been singing a lot. Piper especially loves to sing. She sings all day long. But Averi's been singing the alphabet and her version goes, "A B C D Elmo cheese..." then just starts laughing. They sing twinkle twinkle a lot too. And it doesn't matter how many times I sing it to them they sing it the same as each other. They always will pronounce something the way the other one does, not the way I do. I love it though. I hope that Averi never stops calling horses, Forsees. When it's just the 2 of them they play so well together. I hope they are always each others best friends.

They still get scared of each other too. Piper has been pretending to be a Dragon and just has to smile and mouth whatever noise she thinks a Dragon makes. And Averi screams because there's a Dragon in the house. Then she'll say, "It's just Piper." Then Averi will be ok until she does it again. But Averi's just as bad as Piper. They just do this to each other all day. Then the other one runs screaming, like blood curdling screams, asking to "keep me safe".

Matt and I found a lot that we like that's in this ward. We are praying that everything works out and we can build on it. I hope that it does! We really like it here. But if it doesn't I'm sure we'll like wherever we end up.
