Blankets and Balls of Jarn

Well, I have to say that this month is probably the best month we've had with all the kids. Piper is doing so good! She has really turned into my easiest child. She sleeps a ton and is so sweet and fun. She does like to be held a lot, and I mean a lot. I think it's more that she just wants to be up higher and see what's going on. I never thought I'd see the day but Averi just took two steps tonight. They're getting to be quite the handful. It's getting really hard to do hair when they're awake because they're always trying to stick their hands in the color. Piper got a good fistful today. She got it all over her face, her shirts, my shirts, and Averi's. I don't know how, I washed her right away, but you don't really see all the damage till the color has processed. When she woke up from her nap I thought she was bleeding, but it was just all the color she's gotten everywhere.

The kids love it when Matt and I get on the floor with them. Tonight I was on the floor and Piper climbed on me then stopped and looked around and saw Averi and goes, "Vaevri!"
After that I realized every time I said Averi she would say it too. She's really talking a ton. Averi is going down to one nap a day now. That's kind of a bummer because our schedule will be. 10, Piper's nap, 12, Averi's nap, 2, Piper and Asher's nap. And I don't think Piper's even close to giving up that first nap.
Kids just love little tight spaces. They like to crawl through the maze of chairs and legs and see if they can get lost in there. Usually they just get stuck and cry.
So far all of my kids love blankets. They just get weak when one's close by. Piper just closes her eyes and falls because she knows that it'll be so soft when she lands. This makes Averi nervous, she wants to play too but has to be really careful. When they play together with a blanket she'll cut Piper a little slack and let her get closer and if they get a little rough she'll look at me wondering if she's okay.
These are my favorite jeans on them right now, they're so tall that I have to get the bigger size and then they're too baggy, but these are tight on them and long, but sort of stretchy too.
Heaven - That smile on Averi's face says it all!
Craft day! I saw on someones blog a link for easy Easter crafts. So I thought this would be a good thing for Asher and I to do when the girls were asleep. By the time we got back with everything we needed the girls were up. That was fine, I wasn't going to let that stop us. So we started dipping the string in a little glue mixture. Asher seemed a little apprehensive, and after about 30 seconds of complaining that we were just making a mess and getting our hands sticky he looked at me and said, "Mom, I'm done. I don't want to do this. I don't like my hands sticky!"
Anyway, I ended up doing them by myself.
You pop the balloon when they're dry and they're little egg decorations. I didn't take a picture of the final thing, but they're cute.
I was so busy wrapping the balloons and when I looked up Asher had gotten a hold of the pink yarn. I would hang on to the string and throw the ball. All the kids were just giggling!
The funny thing was that Asher kept calling it his "Ball of Jarn". We told him it was yarn about 20 times, but jarn sounds better.
Then they got the yellow. Once he was covered he obviously looked like the Easter bunny. So he went around telling us he was the Easter bunny and asking us what we wanted for Christmas.
It turned out to be a fun day. We wanted to build more garden boxes but it was so rainy, so it was fun to have a little project to do. One of the biggest things I've missed since having the twins are projects. I never have a good block of time to do something messy and creative.

I knew that it was your fault that you couldn't leave comments, but I did sleep better last night knowing that my comment page looks like everyone elses.
