Sitting up, Ear Aches, and One Night of Sleep

We've finally hit a couple of new stages. The girls started sitting up. And last night the girls actually each slept through the night. I know better than to expect it two nights in a row, but I can hope! The girls are getting more and more fun. They are both so smiley! Averi is just happy to watch what is going on, and Piper loves to play with toys. They both have such a different look from each other, it's getting fun to watch them. I could do better at trying to enjoy them. They like to be by each other and touch each other, but they just hurt each other so much that I can't keep them too close. I love these little outfits on them, they looked like they were ready for their first day of school! If Piper sees a toy she wants she'll do whatever she can to get it. Averi isn't quite as aggressive but she does pretty good at holding her own. Piper will grab something from her and she'll either hang on to it or switch. They were both sitting in their high chairs today playing with a toy and when I looked up they both had switched their toys with each other. They're at that age where they just grab at everything! They've about pulled my food onto my lap quite a few times. Asher's getting a little more comfortable with the girls. He likes to try to hold them and play with them. For the most part he's been so good with them and he's so sweet with them. There are the times though when he's just tired of them taking all my time.

Lately Asher has decided to have picnics in the back yard. He brings a kitchen towel out, lays it out and sits on half of it with his food on the other half. But whatever he eats needs to be eaten with toothpicks. He's very particular about the details, he has to come in for about ten things before he can have his picnic. I know it's a big surprise that he's eating fruit on his picnic. That's all he likes to eat.
I've has such a hard time getting good pictures of the girls together. As soon as I get the camera out that's the look on Averi's face. And Piper wants to play with what I have so she gets excited. We'll have to get professional pictures soon. They're getting to a cute age. Not too much has happened lately. I've been really busy working because school just started and it seems like Matt has been just as busy. This is just a hard busy time for us. We are trying to enjoy it but it's just so hard! I think once the girls are sleeping through the night it'll be a lot easier during the day.
Piper has gotten a few ear aches too. That's probably why we haven't done a lot lately. The first one was really bad and the antibiotics didn't take care of it completely. Then the second one was in the other ear and we got something a little stronger so hopefully this is the last one for a while.
