Six Weeks Old!

Well, we've made it through the first six weeks. It really hasn't been that bad. I was so excited because Piper has been really fussy and I finally found a formula that she likes and she is now an angel too! I'm so lucky to get good babies. I always feel so sorry for parents with colicky babies. Before Piper was waking up 3 times a night and once I'd lay her back down I'd go back to bed and with in minutes she'd be screaming again, so I'd try to get her back to sleep just to have her repeat this over and over again after everytime she'd wake up to eat. That's not to mention that I'd also have to feed Averi each time Piper woke up too.

Then the other night Piper woke up for the first time at 2:30! I was so excited it took me forever to fall back to sleep. Since then she has gotten better and better. The other night she slept for almost 6 hours! I don't get why when I finally get a little sleep I'm more tired the next day.
This is JoyLynn, she's up in Idaho. I know she misses seeing these girls all the time. They change so much when they're little so she just needs to come down a lot. Plus when she's down she'll wake up with the babies and feed them so I don't have to.

After I get up and the girls go back to sleep Asher and I go in the girls' room and gather up all the bottles and diapers from the night before. We set them on the counter and I throw away the diapers. I should've gotten a picture of all diapers from the night. If we have a poopy night it can be quite a few diapers!
Last week Matt did a load of laundry and when he went to switch it there was water all over the ground. A coin had gotten into the pump of the washing machine and made a hole in it. It was a week before we could do laundry again. By the time we got it running and everything washed and dried I think we had ten loads of laundry, and our washer holds 3 normal size loads. It covered our whole living room and took hours to fold and put away. This is Asher holding the box with the part that I spent almost $40 overnighting. When I opened the box the part was broken so I was taking a picture of it to send to my dad to see if it was ok or if we needed another one. (It ended up working fine)
Paul and Heidi were over at our house the other day, they were also experiencing water damage at their house and had to be out for the day. Kate wanted to hold the baby, but as soon as we'd be about to take a picture she'd be all done and want to run away. We finally got one though.
The only other exciting news at our house is that I finally got my first Ipod. We also sold our car and got something that the whole family can fit into. So that's been fun. Now if I can figure out a way to leave the house and get music onto my Ipod we'll be in good shape!
I wanted to put in a cute thing that Asher said the other day. We were all in the car and Asher was looking over at the babies and he goes, " I Fuv you my babies!" And we both said, "Oh that's so sweet that you love them..." then Matt was telling Asher that when he gets older he can protect his sisters and keep them safe. Then Asher got all excited and goes, "Yeah! And when I get older I can get a mustache on my lip!" Matt and I were totally laughing. I sat him down and explained to him right away that there will be absolutely no mustache wearing when he gets older!!! (just kidding)

So I know you had the same problem I had about your milk not coming in with Asher so I was wondering if it came in with your twins?

Your twins are absolutely darling by the way. I made Joe look at all the pics of them and told him that we need twins the next time around too. =)

I can't believe they are that old! They are so so darling! I bet your glad they look different so you don't mix them up! Remember all those weird shows about that kind of stuff like on Lifetime or whatever? I love all the pictures of them!
