My final thoughts on this pregnancy

I thought since my pregnancy was almost over I'd write some things down about it. I'll start with the embarrassing things. I don't get embarrassed very easily, but if I did these would be some of the highlights!

A couple of months ago I was about to do a haircut, and before we went downstairs I decided to hurry and lay Asher down then we'd get started. She was waiting at the bottom of the stairs and when I started walking upstairs I thought that something felt weird. I looked down and realized my skirt was around my ankles. It didn't help that I didn't have any clean underwear so I was wearing my backup pair of men's underwear! Not too flattering!

A few weeks ago we went to our favorite restaurant, I really didn't look cute and was feeling about what I looked like. They seated us in a booth and when I went to sit down I didn't fit. I could sort of wedge myself in, but that just didn't work. Then the hostess got uncomfortable and then it got all weird. Turns out there was more room on the other side of the booth. Since that day that's happened to me 3 other times. Sad huh?!

I was putting lotion on my belly over Christmas and of course Asher was there to see what was going on, and he looked at my belly button sticking out and goes, "Mommy, is that yucky?" I haven't even been able to see my belly button for a while so I was like, "I don't know, it's fine." Then a few days later he asked again and I told him it might be a little yucky. Now he just tells me it is.

I've been going to the hospital for non-stress tests since I was 29 weeks. So we walked in for my first one, and the lady behind the desk thought I was in labor and wanted me to take a wheelchair. I told her that I was fine but she kept wanting me to take it. Now when I go in I try to walk normal and not make eye contact. They still ask me about half the time.

Some other things about my pregnancy that have made this one a little different are the following. I drink probably 1.5-2 gallons of liquid each day. I go to the bathroom about 25 times a day. I have to flip sides about every half hour at night and I feel like I'm just a whale trying to flop around to get to my other side. I can barely walk, I'm in so much pain that now I waddle and limp at the same time. (I really hope this goes away once the babies are delivered) Both babies are breech right now and their heads are touching each others up in my ribs. It's cute and I just have to be grateful that with all the pains in my hips I don't have two heads down there too.

All in all this has been a good pregnancy, I've been able to work and not go on bed rest the whole time, and they are both growing really well and should be healthy once they're born. I've made a lot of friends because people can't help but comment on my status and it turns out that everybody either has twins or their parents are twins and they tell me about it. It's like when you buy a new car, then all of a sudden everybody on the street has that same car. It's really been fun to hear every one's experiences. I hope I'm prepared enough!

Those are some good stories, Jaci. We miss you guys. We need to try to see you before the babies come. We are almost all of the way better, I wouldn't want to get you guys sick right before the big day. I can't believe it is so soon!

Why do you feel like your back up underwear has to be men's? You know, you can just get extra of the same you usually wear! Gee what did your client do? I would act like I was looking the other way!!

Are the ladies still in your belly?
