4 more weeks to go!

I haven't been taking great pictures lately, so there's nothing that fun to look at, but I just wanted to update everyone and let everyone know that every thing's going good with the pregnancy still. If the babies lungs are developed the Dr. said that he'd take the babies on Feb. 9. I went and got checked today and I'm not progressing at all, which is a good sign right now so there's no more worry about bed rest or anything. It's always just been in the back of my mind that I might have to quit working and stay in bed all day. Sometimes that doesn't sound so bad, but for the most part I'd rather be busy and have the time go by quickly.

I think we've finally decided on first and middle names for the girls. Baby A will be the first born, and her name is Averi Jane, and then baby B will be Piper Lynn. We've got about everything we need, I still need to get baby bedding, and curtains for their room, and maybe a stroller. I have my side by side, but some people think that I need a front and back one. We'll just probably wait and see. I can't even imagine leaving the house with 3 kids anytime soon, so I'm not in a huge hurry. Oh, I guess we need a new car too. Matt needs to buy a truck for work so we'll probably do his first then mine next.

Lately it's seemed real that we're really going to have these babies. I haven't been able to think about the reality of twins since we found out, but lately I've been able to think about it for a few minutes at a time. At this point I don't know what would be better, having them in or out of my stomach. I'm already awake all night, and can't get much done. I thought that before I had Asher and my Dr. warned me that they're a lot easier inside even though it might not seem that way. She was right, so I just have to remember that.

At our ultrasound this morning we got to see the babies again. It looks like they both have a good amount of hair. I think it looks blond, but Matt says that you can't tell the color from an ultrasound. So we'll just see who's right here in a few weeks. Both of the babies are measuring big for their age, big surprise! I make big babies! One is already over 6 pounds and the other is just under 6. So if I'm pregnant for 4 more weeks then they'll both be about 8 lbs. And I have a lot of amniotic fluid again. So I'll have 16 pounds of baby! I shouldn't spell it out that clearly it makes me kind of sick. But it's really good for the girls, just not my body. But it's sure not about me anymore. Also we kind of counted up about how many times I go to the bathroom in a day. I think 30 times and Matt says realistically probably 25 times. Who knows. It's a lot. Every time I stand up Asher says, "Oh mommy you have to go the bathroom?"

What good would a post be if I don't write something about Asher. I've been feeling guilty for not writing down cute things that he says, so if I don't write it here it's gone forever! But today we were in the car and I turned around to look at him, and I go, "Oh Asher, you look SO tired! " And he just glanced up then back down and goes. "Oh thanks." But the way he said it was just so funny. He makes me laugh so many times a day.

Asher bumped his mouth climbing out of the crib a while ago and didn't want to do that anymore so I'd still have to go get him after his naps. Then another lazy Sunday he woke up and I asked him to just climb out, so now after he wakes up he comes out of his room announcing that he woke up and slept good. That's been nice, he doesn't realize that he can climb out before he's fallen asleep so that's good.

You are amazing! I am so impressed that you have been able to carry them this long - and get them that big! That's going to be such a blessing! It sounds like you won't even have to leave them at the hospital if things keep going like this! Way to go! I can't wait to see them!
