Anxiously waiting to see what we're having.

Well, it doesn't seem like very many people have faith in us having a boy and a girl, or two girls. I'm hoping for a boy and a girl. I guess if anyone knows our odds for having a girl they are smart to guess two boys. Matt comes from a long line of boys with a girl here and there, but almost all boys. We will find out next week. We are so excited. I am tempted to go today to the mall and find out because I can hardly wait till my doctors appointment on Thursday. I just hope that they will be able to tell us what we are having and be 100% accurate!

Well the salon floor turned out really good. I'm glad that we tore the old one after all. It was a mess for a week, but it's all done now and I really like it. I'm really lucky to have a husband that likes projects. He was sick the whole week we did the floor too, but he just kept working on it. I know it's a little cheesy when people go on and on about how perfect their husbands are, but Matt has been so sweet lately! I'm just going to say all of the nice things Matt's done for me today. I think it's been good that I've been sick with this pregnancy because it's really forced him to do more, and I think that when the babies are born he'll already be used to doing more than what should be expected.

Anyway, Matt got up with Asher and let me sleep this morning, and when I got out of bed to go get a bowl of cereal I noticed that he was finishing folding the 4 loads of laundry that were in the laundry room. Then while Asher was supposed to be taking a nap but wasn't I was watching the Food Network, (not a good idea) they said that Rachel Ray worked in some fancy candy shop. So I texted Matt and asked if he would stop at See's candy on his way home for me. He said yes and came home with like one of everything from See's and dinner from PF Changs. I couldn't eat the lettuce wraps, but I totally loved that he was so sweet to do that for me. Maybe being pregnant is making me more sentimental but I just think he's been so thoughtful lately.

It just wouldn't be a post if I didn't write something about Asher! A couple of months ago Asher and I were on the way to my 1st doctors appointment and Asher just asked me every two seconds what everything outside was. When we passed the hospital and he asked I told him that that's where we'll go when the baby (at that time) gets big and we'll go get him out. So you could see the hospital from the window at my appointment and the nurse kept giving Asher suckers. Asher's been elaborating on his prayers now, so I'll tell him something to say and he'll go on from there on his own. So the other night I was prompting him and I said, "We're thankful for the babies in Mommy's tummy..." he said that and continued on saying, "...and go to the hospital and take em out and I can get suckers."

It was so funny, then when we were in Stake Conference Asher was coloring, or unplugging the big screen everyone was watching, but he heard the speaker say succor, and he just started crying for a sucker, like someone was giving them out and he might not get one. That was a fun two hours!

Hopefully my next post will be to let everyone know what we're having!

I went to school with Matt and came to your wedding reception, but I am not sure if you know who I am. I don't exactly know how I came to find your blog, but I just had to say congratulations on your news of TWINS!! That is so so exciting!! That is such an awesome blessing!! I always would have loved to have twins. You have an adorable little boy too. I am sure he keeps you very busy. Matt is awesome for being such a great help for you! My husband likes me to keep our blog private, but if you would like to take a look to see who I am just email me and I will send you an invite.

Okay, that is so darn cute of Matt! What a sweet husband! Man, just take it while you can get it:) That sucker story cracked me up! That's like when I told David we needed to get him a new piggy bank and he said "ya, and a sucker?" because he thinks that the word 'bank' is always associated with a sucker! I'm sure you've seen my hair on my blog by now. Don't hate me for erasing all your work, I just don't know what I was thinking when I mixed up that red/ brown color- I felt like it looked horrible on me. I actually made Jason color my hair the color it is now- not bad for his first time! Call me, we should hang out-I'm always down for another seafood sandwhich and I can't wait to find out what you're having!

Oh heck no!! There will be no more blonde for me for a while! Thanks for your willingness though, you're a true friend! I actually love it this color and the ironic part is that EVERYONE who has seen it has flipped out about how much they like it. -Like I've actually gotten embarressed a few times because they have made such a big deal about it. I don't even know why I put that poll on my blog but I took it off cause I was so bugged that all 3 people so far had voted blonde! WHATEVER! Maybe everyone else has just been lying...
I don't know, but I like it so I plan on keeping it around for a while. Especially since you are going to a bit out of commission from here on out. Something a little less maintenance will be good- plus there's nothin like having your husband color your hair!
