Asher loves binkies, and he let us know over and over again that the lid in his mouth WAS a binkie. Who were you trying to convince Asher?!
Asher is really talking a lot more lately. And he's just cracking me up with the funny things he thinks of to says. I wanted to write the things that he says down so that I won't forget them.
He really likes formalities. He really likes a client I have, Jake. So whenever I have a guy client he waits by the door, and when they walk in he goes, "Hi Jake, hi Jake. How are you doing?" It's so cute. And as soon as I take the cape off he starts saying, "bye Jake, see ya". Or if they're writing out a check he likes to take it and say thank you then hand it to me. He also likes to get more than one check, so just keep that in mind when coming to my house!
The other day he said the funniest thing he's said. I was changing his diaper and as soon as I opened his diaper up he kind of sat up a little and goes, "OH! Hi weaner, good to see you!" I was dying laughing. Then as I closed up the new diaper he goes, "Night night weaner, see you in the morning!" He's just getting so old, and thinking of creative ways to make sentences.
He's getting really imaginative too. He likes to pretend a lot. Nina found a stray kitten last week, and we took it in and gave it a bath and a little milk. This kitten was so small and Asher was so rough with it. Some neighbors came over to see the kitty and I guess Asher wasn't getting enough time with the kitty so he found a little shoe and carried it around saying, "Cat, meeeooowww!" It was the saddest longest meow. It was so funny. He'd have me pet the cat and he'd carefully sit down and pet the kitty too.
One last quick story, Asher and I were at the mall yesterday, and we were walking into American Eagle, and there are big A's and E's on the doors, and as we walked by he goes, "Mama E!! E, Mama!!" I was like what are you talking about, and there was a big E that he was pointing to. I was so proud, because I didn't realize he was really learning his letters.

Loved the weiner story! That just cracked me up. I guess if he is going to talk about it that was a good place instead of the middle of the grocery store.

What was Kortney doing at McDonalds on Sunday to see you??? :)
Awesome stories--I have to say that I basically laughed my head off at the weiner story. Maybe we'll have a story like that in a couple of years.
