Sharing whole food recipes

Asher enjoying a fresh loaf of whole wheat bread.

So after reading the book In Defense of Food, my family has really changed the way we look at food and are trying to eat better. My sister Carrie and I were talking on the phone today and were saying how hard it is to think of stuff to make, and remember the stuff we can make. So we decided to make a blog where people can add recipes and ideas of food to have. So the blog is Wholefoodsmadeeasy.blogspot.com.

If anyone wants to be able to post on this blog let me know. All you have to do is email me and you can be a contributor. If you don't want to add anything feel free to look what we've posted. It's very informal so feel free to add something that you like to make for your family.

Hey Jaci--Thanks for the thoughts about the Alchemist. I may pick it up again someday. This new recipe blog is a great idea...just don't expect Amy to add much to it:-) I haven't had a lot of time recently to read books that I really want to read. The most recent that I've read are some of the classics: The Count of Monti Cristo, The Last of the Mohicans (my favorite...read it twice), Moby Dick, Huckleberry Finn. I loved all of them. I've started the first in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but I just haven't had much time. I've loved what I've read so far though.

Hi Jaci!

I miss visiting you every month. You are such a cutie! I love your blog. Asher is getting so big, I can't believe how fast time flies by! I may be able to compete with the amount of jobs, too funny.
